If I were to guess, I would assume t4 your optical drive containing the windows install disk is not in the boot order in your BIOS menu.

Thx guys here some more information In Bios it says: During post, press delete to get into your bios and go to the boot tab using the arrow keys and set the boot priority as decsribed above. On repost, enter the BIOS again. Remove Advertisements Sponsored Links.

I’d just like to 4g1mt-s2 what happened. To make it confusing though, the problem in your case is that you can’t boot to the CD to install the operating system in the first place.

Highlight the IDE Port where your drives are connected, and hit the enter key. If you have the optical drive in the boot order, you should get a message along the lines of “Press any Key to boot from CD”.

BB code is On. You should now be able to see the HDD and optical drive as options in your boot order. Currently both HDD are connected to Sata 0 and 1.
